Airbnb amenities checklist for hosts

Guests filter by amenities, so a missing tick can hide your place from someone looking for exactly what you have. Use this checklist to make sure everything you offer is listed.

Why a complete amenity list matters

Airbnb's Help your listing stand out page says that during setup you only pick from a short list of popular amenities, and that after publishing you should add the rest from the full list of nearly 150 options. It notes that many guests use filters to find the amenities they want, and that completing your list helps your listing stand out and sets expectations.

Airbnb's explanation of search results also says adding sought-after amenities can make a listing more attractive and improve visibility in searches for those amenities. Only list what you really have: Airbnb asks hosts not to exaggerate amenities (Setting clear expectations).

Do not repeat the list in your description

Airbnb suggests not duplicating your full amenity list in the description (Writing an effective listing description). Mention the two or three standouts there and let the amenity section do the rest.
